-Giggles-

I am constantly reminded by my lecturers that during a job interview, everything counts. How you speak to anyone in the company and the questions you ask prior to your interview will be taken into consideration. :P Can't imagine the kind of impression that 'trouble with stairs' kiddo must be forming on everyone. Hahaha.

These people must be too used to lifts!

*is laughing hysterically* How could someone be so idiotic as to wonder how to go down a staircase, when he knows how to go up one?

Or maybe he believed that they were one-way staircases?

I worked at a gas station a long while ago. The restroom key, being small as it is, was attached to an empty oil container. On the container was written "bathroom key". It sat beneath a large sign that said "bathroom key" with an arrow pointing at it.

People would ask me where the key was, look, ask again, and insist that I was playing a joke on them. A few times people would even pick up the container—by the key—and look beneath it. I was always shocked and amazed by this enigma. Of course, working at a gas station allows one to see all kinds of interesting human behavior, such as people driving away with the gas hose in their car. Or a person pulling up to the pump, realizing the tank is on the other side of the car, and pulling around to the other side of the pump, and then realizing that their car turned as well.

It is because of this, and many other events, that I find it difficult to ask for help in stores. I need to search for myself, and figure "it" out, whether it is how to get in the bathroom, or figuring out the price of something without a clerk. All those silly customers contributed to my store-independence neurosis. ^_^

Lol that sounds really funny and stupid. What does the staircase look really scary or invisible? I think it sounds like my friend who, though a true smart-ass, got lost in the school gyms. Our teacher had to send three of us to go look for her. :P
