Klutzy
“Joyce [the cousin] just crashed the car into a tree.”
“Yeah, I heard.”
“Didn’t you ever get into any accidents while you were practicing driving?”
“No…”
“Really?”
“Yeah, amazing, I know. I’m shocked too.”
Shortly after this conversation, I was walking in the backyard and managed to randomly trip over a concrete tile. I’m not even sure which one. Now my toe is a lovely and bloody mess. Sometimes I’m shocked I even made it to the age of twenty…
(Oh, and yes, Joyce is okay. The car’s a different story, but luckily, she wasn’t driving very fast.)
