Physically, I’m tired, but my mind refuses to let me sleep. Time is getting hard to keep track of, as I’ve been up and down health-wise since I fully relapsed last Wednesday. Today was one of the more miserable days of my sickness, as my body started freaking out in various unpleasant ways in addition to spasms. This includes breaking out in hives and cold sweats. Suffice it to say: not pretty.

We’ve been waiting to hear back from the neurology department at Stanford, but I may have to go back to the previous neurologist if I don’t get an appointment set up soon enough. As my body’s seemingly started waging war on me, sitting around waiting has become more and more unbearable.

I’ve been trying to “keep up a good attitude” about this whole thing, but on days like today, all I feel like doing in between the discomfort is whine. Can someone diagnose me already? Or better yet, administer a treatment that works?
